The National Park "Archipelago
Los Roques" is
the largest Marine Park of the Caribbean, declared
as such in 1972 by its beauty and ecological importance.
It is located 130 Kms North of
Caracas - Venezuela. It is formed by 365 keys and
islands with beaches of smooth white sand and crystalline
water. It takes only half an hour of flight from the
International Airport of Maiquetía or an hour
from the Airport of Margarita Island. |

In an area of
some 220.000 hectares with abundant flora and marine fauna,
Los Roques has
it all: spectacular beaches, a seductive climate, paradisíacs
places and the special hospitality of its settlers. The
main island called The Great Roque, that counts on a landing
strip for small airplanes, is shown like a town of fishermen,
with its chapel, school and a dispensary. One of its main
characteristics is the typical decoration of its houses
and streets, permitting its visitors to be felt in harmony
with the environment that surrounds them.
Activities: fishing sports , diving, snorkelling, windsurf
and ecological trips, without forgetting the relaxation
that You will be able to enjoy, when you explore its different
beaches. During its stopover, you will be able to enjoy
the Water Key wonders, the Bio Marine Station, Dos Mosquises,
the island of Crasquí, to practice snorkelling in
the Pelona of Rabusky, or to share with its companion of
